Facebook has just published the 14th case study featuring MuteSix, but this is the 1st with MuteSix as the focal point. The case study focuses on how we have used Facebook video ads in our work with three unique brands - JibJab, Baubax, and Mott & Bow - to scale each company's revenues, reduce purchase costs and in the process become the leading Facebook advertisement company in the industry.
How have we scaled each company and ourselves?
MuteSix was started in 2014 by myself and Daniel Rutberg with one core mission — to provide companies with a highly effective customer acquisition service that focuses on providing trackable revenue for their clients, transparently and profitably.
Recognizing the immense opportunity the platform provided, Dan and I focused primarily on Facebook and grew the company to be the “go-to” Facebook advertising agency in Los Angeles. Since the inception, we have evolved continuously, focusing on the full marketing funnel to master the entire customer journey from start to finish. MuteSix has expanded to include other key components of the user acquisition and retention equation like search engine marketing and email marketing and in 2017 launched Studiosix to provide the most scalable videos and creatives to further drive success on the platform.
MuteSix is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, and works with clients across the United States and Europe. In 2017, MuteSix was named one of Inc. magazine's Best Workplaces and ranked #341 on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies.
MuteSix's Facebook Success - Increasing Brand Performance through Video
JibJab provides a variety of humorous animated e-cards that allow people to play around with unique templates to watch their animated bodies bob around in a funny way. We used a creative approach to build the video ads in a carousel format using JibJab's top 10 most popular e-cards which allowed for people to scroll through the catalog and contemplate possibilities without leaving the News Feed. The campaign created a 4X increase in revenue compared to the previous campaign and 33% decrease in cost per action.
BauBax created a unique travel jacket that includes a built-in neck pillow. Our in-house creative team produced simple videos using a direct-to-camera narration to hold the audience's attention and demonstrate the value of the innovative product. The campaign generated over $1 million dollars in sales and 7x revenue increase.
Mott & Bow is a clothing brand that focuses on premium denim for men and women. We used high quality video creative ads to show the value of the jeans by focusing on comfort, fit, and product-focused shots while also targeting a custom audience of people who have previously made purchases or added products to their carts. The campaign concluded with a 4.2X return on ad spend and over $1.3 million in sales.
